Nikos Bakirtzis is a political scientist with a Bachelor degree in Balkan, Slavic and Oriental Studies with a major on Balkan Studies and a MA in Political Science/ International Relations.  His topics of interest are the issues of radicalization and extremism, nationalism, the democratization process of post-conflict states and the concept of European integration with an overall focus in the Balkans.
